My favorite childhood memory is my first time to show my friends my voice in the talent show（we call it Cabaret Night).
On April 4th, at 1:30, we had auditions. I was very afraid. I always worry and think, “Can I do that?”
Before my turn, my friend told me, “You can do it! Believe in yourself! Learn from Connor. He is always saying, ‘I’m a super star. I’m great.’ Think like that, and you can do it.”
She was right! I made it! That let me know sometime when God gives me a chance, I can let it pass if I’m afraid. After that day, April 4th, I try to do things that I’m afraid to try. This time, I got the result that I wanted in the end.
After the Cabaret Night, so many classmates told me, “Yang, I like your voice,” and, “That was so good!” It made me so happy.
