All of my posts were set by the challenge. I didn’t write any that were school based or my own interests.

I received 1 comments on my posts, over all.
4.Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened?
https://yang7.edublogs.org/2014/04/08/the-memory-that-i-want-to-trash/ received the most comments. I think this happened because there is a oversea student in our class,too. She is from Iran. We have some same topic. So both of us have homesick. So she knew why I want to trash those memories.

My favorite post is I want to be…… Because when I write that post, I think I write it form my heart.
6.Did you change blog themes at all and why?
Yes, I did. Because I think the beautiful themes can let people more like to read your blog. Think about it all the how people can chose their favorite thing. The first step is chose one looks like beautiful. So I change my themes once two weeks.

I do not have any widgets on my blog. I think I should use some widgets in my blog.

People  always want to make their blog be great, so how can we do that?

Everyone have their own dreams, I have some too.

That movie described a story about clothes designer. They  design so many dress. And have a show to show their dress. And earn the money.  So I would love to be a clothes designer.

When I in the fifth grade. I saw a TV show, it’s about the army. They practice very hard and can protect their country.  From that  day I want to join the army , I always think about, one day I wear the clothes in the army, protect my hometown. I am proud of myself.

When I  in the sixth grade, we have so many homework. Some  student  got sick because almost like no  break. Everything  happened, because they can not  let all the students really remember the class, only copy, writing. So from that day I want to be a educators. Hope one day can change our study item. Let student can have their own style to study and remember all thing they did. Not always copy from the textbook.

But right now, I want to be politician.

I from China, from long  time ago, there was a war between China and Japan. Right now, they always talk the island is for Japan or China. I hope one day I can be a politician, to keep our earth be peace. Never have war.

Activity 1

What time do you normally get up to go to school? I get up at 7 o’clock.

What do you normally have for breakfast, recess, lunch, tea (dinner, supper)? For breakfast, I always eat eggs, bread, and drink soy milk. For lunch, I always eat sandwiches.

How do you get to school? My aunt drives me to school in a gray car.

How long does it take to get to or from school? About 10 minutes.

School bell has gone for end of day – what happens now? Everyone leaves and talks on their cell-phone. I will go outside enjoy the sunshine.( during day care time)

Every month we have activities. And every week we have our school mass on Wednesday.

What do you enjoy most about school? Talking with my friends and running for office. And I like our talent show very much.

If you could improve your school, what would you do? I think we need more music, art, and PE class times.

 Activity 2: Chances for leadership

As a student, you often have chances to show leadership while at school. What are some of these leadership roles available at your school? Would you try to take on one of these roles? Why or why not?

So in my old school,  we have monitor, for reminder classmates keep quiet, and receiving the homework and count it. We have class representative too, for helping teacher to correct the homework (part of the homework always like the easy questions) and send back to us. And we have a leader for each flag-rising ceremony.

Right now in OLG we have President and Vice President for all the thing in the student council. And class representative for going to the meeting and speak on the class behalf.

In my old school I already be a class monitor and the class representative for Music, art, English and Math. And I am the leader for each flag-raising ceremony. (I am a good compere for that.) And right now I want to be a Vice President for student council.I hope I will win for that.

I want to be a leader because I think to be a leader can let me improve my leadership skills. And I think sometimes we should be unity.That we can work together. In our life  we will go to work ,but you are not work by yourself so lead someone you will know how to work with others . When you are the boss in your company you will know how to lead them like you will know to say do this first and then do that ,or kind of like you will know to say you do this and you help him for this thing …That can be organization.

On April 9th, we went to Catalina Island. We are exciting for that. During this field trip,my favorite part is kayaking. My partner is Bahar. We work together. She sit in the front, I sit in the back. Because who sit back who is strong. When we boating I think that’s not easy to keep the direction right, Sometimes Bahar think is turn right but I think it’s turn left. When we try for a moment . We can do it very well. When we boat to the deep sea. Instructor told us try to stand in the kayak and moving it. First time I and Bahar both fell into the sea. I think the problems are we can not stand together, we should let Bahar keep boating for the right and I should keeping the left that we can keep the balance.Second time we try again ( I must say we are brave.). We are successes. We are so happy Kaia’s mum took a picture for us, that picture will record my first kayaking life. Can let me remember I had fun on kayaking.

I think memories are not to let you go to shield someone or even with someone, they help you remember to motivate you, to grow things. The memory of the thing is left in order to leave time shadow. Memories are a good thing and God gives us memories which means he wants us remember something interesting, bad, happy…So you don’t need to forget any memory or remember any one.You only need keep the memories. If it is happy, share it with your friends. If it is not, find something that can help you and remember so you don’t do that kind of thing again.

If I could delete memories, I would choose these three:

1. Before I came to America, I had to leave my old school on 12/1/2013. I didn’t tell my friends I was leaving, but they knew because my Mum told them. They cried. They asked, “Why didn’t you tell us?”

I would delete this memory because it was the first time I saw my friends crying. In my memories I always remember them and hope they can still be brave.

2. I wish I could not remember the time when my mum had an operation. It was very painful. If I could, I would delete this memory because I don’t want my mum to feel pain. I hope she will always be healthy.

3. I would like to delete the day when I left China.

In the airport, my parents didn’t cry. They said, “Study hard. Don’t forget why you come to America. And have a good life. We want you to be happy.”

Only I know they are good actors. When I was sleeping, they were crying. When my dad was not at home, my mum cried on that morning when I will leaving. If I could, I would trash that memory because I want my parents to be happy always. I want them know that I am good, and I don’t want them to worry.
